Any dwelling created after 1st April 2008 must have an EPC certificate produced using full SAP methodology.
This includes New Builds, Conversions and when the number of dwellings within a property has changed i.e. A house changed into 2 flats.
A full SAP EPC can be used for sale or rent in the same way as the usual (RdSAP) version and is valid for 10 years.
